Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Alaska Airlines Winter Classics!
Experience the intimate beauty of chamber music with the New York City-based Attacca Quartet February 8-10 in Anchorage. The Attacca Quartet has served as the Juilliard Resident String Quartet and the Quartet in Residence for the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The quartet will present half of Beethoven’s String Quartets in four concerts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The other half of Beethoven’s String Quartets will be presented during Winter Classics 2020, as a culminating celebration of Beethoven’s 250th birthday.
Along with the Beethoven String Quartets, the Attacca Quartet will perform works by Gabriella Smith, Caroline Shaw, and John Adams. The full weekend schedule is as follows:
