We can’t believe it’s already the last week of the Sitka Summer Music Festival! This week Yuliya Gorenman (piano), Martin Sher (viola), Helen Kim (violin), Allison Bailey (violin), Zuill Bailey (cello), and Cicely Parnas (cello) are all still here at the festival. We’re also joined by Jenny Douglass (violinist) from Mill Valley, California.
We begin with the Cafe Concert on Wednesday, June 20th at 6:30pm at the Mean Queen in the heart of Sitka. Come early! This event has been packed for the last three weeks, with most tables being taken before 6:00pm.
There will not be a Bach’s Lunch concert this week, and the Evening Concerts will be on Thursday and Friday, to avoid SFAC’s Jazz on the Waterfront concert on Saturday night.
