The 2016 Winter Classics tour and concert series brought incredible concerts and educational opportunities to several Alaska communities the first week of February. We were dazzled to have the Matt Herskowitz Trio back in Sitka last month for our annual "Wine and Music with Friends" fundraiser. Over a hundred guests joined us for a transformative evening of music in a Steampunk salon. Tickets included a delicious dinner catered by Beth Short-Rhodes and wine. Our final week brought us the Arianna Quartet and David Wiley. We finished the season with a Concert Brunch that no one will soon forget!
Our third week of the Festival brought unforgettable performances from two powerful pianists, as well as some exciting collaborations between old friends.
